˜Please Explain’ Lyric Video From Folk Artist Catie Curtis

Catie Curtis is anticipating the release of her forthcoming album ‘While We’re Here.’

Catie Curtis, a Boston-based folk artist is anticipating the release of her forthcoming album on February 3, 2017.

Titled While We’re Here will be followed by The Final Outing tour, her last US tour, although she will return for the occasional performance in support of Voices United for Separation of Church and State or other select one-offs.

In her '90s gay-rights classic, “Radical,” Curtis sang, “I’m not being racial when I kiss you/And I don’t love you to make a point.” Using her original sound, and the intimacy with which she expressed her lesbian identity, helped many others through their own difficult journey to openness.

Curtis said, “I took a leap of faith 25 years ago and dropped my ‘day job’ to follow my passions of writing and singing. The album’s themes about letting go, loss, and joy-filled resilience remind me that life is short and precious, and I am ready to create a new chapter in my life.”
